Towards the turn of the last decade the country has seen a tremendous growth and need for the services of the health sciences professionals. Our response to this is to be able to provide flexible, multi-disciplinary, highly skilled quality health education. We are proud to say we are able to achieve this by offering quality accredited programs ranging from laboratory-based medical science to applied clinical and public health at the Diploma to the PhD level. With proper strategic planning and development the faculty has progressed and able to produce academics who are highly qualified, experienced and dedicated to provide the best education in health sciences to fulfill the vision of the university, faculty and the country.

As a consequence of this, the faculty is able to produce graduates that are highly skilled, competent, knowledgeable and able to compete globally. This makes our graduates highly sought after in the community. Research in multi-disciplinary areas has created an interest into the faculty. In line with our mission, we also provide a conducive environment at two campuses with a third under progress to facilitate knowledge acquisition. As a global player in health education, this has had an impact on us through our extensive networking locally and internationally. There is more to be done and achieve to meet the needs of the nation and globally. I invite you to view our pages and we welcome you, with your background, experience and vast knowledge, to be a part of our community , to contribute in the intellectual growth of the faculty and explore the frontiers beyond together.
